The successful candidate will provide legal (non interpretative) and business research and training support to the Knowledge Research & Training Team and manage resource support in the Leeds and Newcastle offices. Perform legal and business research using a variety of electronic and traditional resources for internal and external clients. Deliver research and knowledge source training as required. Provide KM support to the onsite team. Work closely with the Knowledge Resource Team to ensure that the local hard-copy resource collections are managed and maintained to a high standard. Provide administrative support, as necessary, to un-staffed offices. Ensure knowledge of research sources remains current and commercial. Experience of providing high level administrative support. Some research experience in a commercial environment and knowledge of legal and commercial research sources. Competency and enthusiasm in training and coaching. Educated to degree level in a relevant area and/or proven experience of KM support in a commercial environment. High level of IT literacy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational skills. Excellent time management. Enjoys working under pressure and to tight deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work with minimum supervision, in an autonomous independent way. A tenacious yet practical approach to problem solving. Excited and challenged by the pace and demands of a corporate environment. High degree of commercial awareness, with the ability to contribute to the wider business and knowledge agenda. A range of influencing, personal impact and communication skills that will ensure success and command instant credibility at all levels of the organisation. A lively, energetic personality and a practical can-do mentality. Strong team player. Flexibility of working hours as this role will operate on a shift basis between 8am and 6pm. Some travel required to other offices. Innovative.
